I found myself in Athens recently, wondering why Edinburgh is known as the Athens of the North. Apparently Edinburgh gave itself the title ‘Athens of the North’ to express its growing importance and sense of achievement. Scottish travellers to Athens brought back images of Greek structures and sought to recreate them at home. Back then Edinburgh was sometimes described as ‘Modern Athens’.

A good legal translator to work with over a long period of time

Carrie has been translating legal documents for me for several years.

Due to the specialist and ongoing nature of the work I needed to find a good legal translator to work with over a long period of time.

Carrie’s knowledge of the French legal system gives me confidence that the translations are accurate and can be trusted.
